Reality-Based Instructional Approach Being Developed for Real Estate and Insurance
The Marketing and Distribution team led by Bernice Dandridge, Diablo Valley College, focused on soft skills development through partnerships with business, non-profits, or social organizations. The team assessed methods to evaluate soft skills and developed strategies that encourage active/applied learning. In addition, curriculum for a proposed Certificate in Insurance was developed in conjunction with the insurance industry. The Certificate and industry-driven course proposals, that may be replicated, are available on the BESAC Website.
